The June visit to Australia is not over. One-to-one series tournaments are canceled or postponed due to coronavirus. Corona was also hit by a visit to Australia in June. The BCB said in a press release today that the Bangladesh-Australia Test series was suspended in June.

Australia was scheduled to arrive in BAngladesh in the first week of June. The first of the two tests was scheduled to begin in Chittagong on June 5. 

The first of the two tests was scheduled to begon on June 7. As part of the ICC Test Championship, the two teams were supposed to play two Tests. But the situation created by the coronavirus infection has forced the organizers to postpone the June series.

BCB chief executive Nizamuddin cowdhury said,"It is frustrating for the players, supporters and two teams. In view of the global situation and the Health risks now posed by the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, the BCB and CA - Cricket Australia-have agreed that this is the most sensible and realistic decision.

 Hopefully the situation will be normal soon. We hope to arrange the series at a convenient time in the near future. The Australian Board has also supported use in the past. BCB will work with CA in the future. 

Cricket Aistralia chief executive Kevin Roberts said the series was postponed, saying: We know the global cricket calender is very busy. We wil try to do everything so that the promise made to Bangladesh is honored. We will work accordingly by setting a date based on criticism.

But if the situation goes back to normal, the postponed series could take place in March-April next year, said Akram Khan, head of the BCB's cricket management division.
